Technical Director - Akeel Al-Attar
Akeel holds a First Class B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and a PhD
in
Telecommunications both from the University of Leeds England - UK. Akeel
began his career as a senior research engineer at the British Gas Engineering
Research Station where he was responsible for the design and development
of
a ground probing radar for detecting plastic pipes. In 1984 Akeel setup
XpertRule
Software, a technology company actively involved in the design, development
and application of Knowledge Engineering and data mining software. XpertRule
Software has currently over 2000 users world-wide of its knowledge
engineering and data mining software.
Akeel has extensive experience in data mining and knowledge engineering
technologies gained through his involvement in the implementation of over
70
successful technology projects in the UK, USA, Europe and Japan in the
areas
of financial services, process industries and manufacturing.
Akeel co-founded Knowledge Process Solutions in 2000 and is responsible
for many of its innovative products & solutions.
