Knowledge Process Solutions (KPS) deliver advanced software solutions to improve the business performance of large process organisations.
The improvements typically include increased productivity of processes and plant, reduced energy cost and CO2 emissions and greater reliability.
The solutions are based on the latest techniques for knowledge discovery from data (data mining), intelligent performance monitoring and decision support. KPS apply these advanced techniques in a structured, consistent and robust manner which ensures achievement of benefits quickly (within a few months) and at low cost/risk, followed by continued improvement.
KPS solutions make effective use of the process operating data typically already available from modern process monitoring and control systems, and are consistent with, and complimentary to, other advanced control, optimisation and process modelling approaches.
The solutions and delivery system were initially developed with support from the UK Department of Environment, ICI and Carlsberg Tetley on the basis they were innovative and had significant potential. They have evolved through numerous successful projects for blue chip oil, chemical and process companies.
